Bio
Born in August 1987, my interest in art came swift and early with the creation of mud pie and stone sculptures in the backyard. Even if I did eat half of it, we could call it performance art. Afternoon art classes aided me in my road to study, winning me my first award at the age of twelve with 3rd prize in a nation wide competition. The same year, I exhibited my first painting in a small gallery. All very exciting for a twelve year old. This lead to the enjoyment of art in an educated environment, with the study of art history, painting and graphic design at Kaiapoi High School. My attraction to the arts developed and lured me towards tertiary education. Through the Design and Arts College in Christchurch, I have completed three years of study, achieving for myself an Advanced Diploma of Art. This year I will complete my Bachelor of Fine Arts through Whitecliffe College of Art and Design. In the future I would like to learn more and advance my studies, by completing a Masters in Arts Therapy.
